To maintain equity with existing team members, dependent upon various factors, new team members are generally brought in at a rate that typically falls from the minimum to the midpoint of the range. Final compensation placement will vary based on many factors, including placement of existing team members, work experience, skills, geographic location, etc. the stated pay range is our good faith belief at the time of this posting.


JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing new referral source relationships and maintaining existing referral source relationships, increasing specimen referrals to Avero Diagnostics.

Northwest Pathology, P.S. dba Avero Diagnostics operates on a 24/7/365 basis; individual may be required to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedule flexibility with and without advanced notice is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Meets with Clients and their staff regularly to promote new and existing services.
  • Solicits new business in company territories and surrounding areas, or as directed by company management.
  • Acquires a working knowledge of Avero Diagnostics services as well as an understanding of insurance requirements and regulations.
  • Makes effective sales presentations and details company products/services in the assigned territories; a minimum of eight (8) calls per day is suggested.
  • Acquires knowledge of competitor’s strengths, weaknesses, and business practices/ relationships and reports them to Avero Diagnostics.
  • Uses company Salesforce CRM to key in sales call client communications and competitor information.
  • Delivers and retrieves company correspondence and physician orders as needed.
  • Troubleshoots known or potentially problematic areas.
  • Assists with advanced scheduling and weekly contact reports.
  • Maintains and submits semi-monthly mileage and expense reports.
  • Communicates with Director of Sales on a weekly basis; meets quarterly to review sales strategies, goals, and performance.
  • Performs all tasks assigned by management.
  • Maintains personal health status requirements in relation to job position.
  • Maintains current personnel file data; provides data updates in a timely manner.
  • Sets own development challenges and volunteers to learn.
  • Assists with orientation of new personnel.
  • Adheres to Avero Diagnostics infection control and safety policies, including education, reporting, and implementation of practices specific to job position.
  • Attends Avero Diagnostics in-service programs to fulfill requirements of job position and Avero Diagnostics policies.
  • Understands and appropriately applies the chain of command in relation to job position and supervision.
  • Knows and understands Avero Diagnostics mission as it relates to their position.
  • Protects and honors Avero Diagnostics client and patient confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines.
  • Understands and adheres to Avero Diagnostics policy on regulatory compliance ensuring that marketing practices adhere to all federal, state and local regulations.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus
  • Active and valid US State-Issued Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle record as defined and approved by the company’s vehicle insurance carrier.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required: excellent sales performance with proven background of selling laboratory and/or diagnostic solutions; understanding of buyer/decision maker types, exhibit effective selling, listening, and verbal/presentation skills, and ability to assess and respond to customer needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
